Labour Productivity Has Increased in Armenia
News
The Armenian government aims to double labour productivity by 2026, reaching a GDP of USD 12 per person per hour worked. In 2021, this figure was approximately USD 6, and by 2024 it had risen to USD 10.9.
Minister Gevorg Papoyan stated that the country is currently ahead of schedule and expressed confidence that this target will be achieved. This progress is also supported by a leasing program for the agricultural sector, which facilitates the purchase of machinery, tractors, and equipment for other sectors of the economy.
