Call for projects: Sound residency 2026

This year again, the CCIFA is pleased to share the Call for projects “Sound Residency”Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac, aimed at artists originating from (or dual nationals) of one of the four continents represented in the collections of the musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac: Africa, Asia, the Americas, Oceania.

This program is open to emerging or established artists interested in creating a sound artwork inspired by the museum’s collections, challenges, and themes. The created work will be presented to the public (March 2027) and will later join the museum’s collections.

The museum will award the selected artist a grant of €8,000 and will also fund the production of the sound artwork, which will be presented to the public and may be included in the museum’s collections.

Application deadline: Sunday, January 18, 2026, midnight (Paris time).
