Conference on Economic Cooperation Opportunities Between Armenia and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region in Lyon
As part of the events organized for the "Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes–Armenia–Syunik Friendship Day", a conference dedicated to the prospects for strengthening economic cooperation between Armenia and the region was held on 21 November. According to the Facebook page of the Embassy of Armenia in France, this first Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes–Armenia Economic Meeting, initiated by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, focused on the key roadmap for Armenian-French economic cooperation. Among the sectors discussed, the energy sector—particularly renewable energy—was highlighted as being of strategic importance for Armenia. The Ambassador of Armenia to France, Arman Khachatryan, also took part in the conference.
