The French Consulate in Goris Officially Inaugurated

On June 2, 2025, the French Consulate in Goris was officially inaugurated in the presence of His Excellency Olivier Decottignies, Ambassador of France to Armenia, along with several representatives of the Armenian and French authorities.
This opening marks an important diplomatic milestone in strengthening decentralized cooperation between France and the Syunik region. The consulate aims to facilitate cultural, educational, and economic exchanges in southern Armenia while providing enhanced support to French citizens living in or visiting this strategically important region.
Armen Mnatzakanian, President of the Franco-Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFA), had the honor of attending this symbolic event, reaffirming his commitment to supporting Franco-Armenian relations on the ground and encouraging local and entrepreneurial initiatives.
