Franco-Armenian Solidarity: Child Sponsorship and Exchange at the French Embassy

Thanks to Espoir pour l’Arménie, 420 Armenian children, including 29 from Nagorno-Karabakh, are currently sponsored by French families. This humanitarian initiative was recognized during a special meeting at the French Embassy, where Ambassador Olivier Decottignies had the opportunity to warmly engage with the sponsors participating in the program.

For the Armenian children benefiting from this initiative, sponsorship goes far beyond financial support. It represents a meaningful connection with another culture, an opening to new opportunities and perspectives, and, above all, a powerful expression of human compassion that transcends national borders.

Through this initiative, the French Embassy and the participating families demonstrate in a tangible way that solidarity is not merely an abstract concept, but a lived reality that enriches the lives of children and strengthens the ties between nations.
