Armenia Is a Rapidly Growing Technology Hub, Says the President of WITSA
News
Armenia is a rapidly developing technology hub, and hosting this year's conference provides global technology leaders with an opportunity to explore advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies. It also brings together outstanding minds and fosters collaboration that promises significant reforms in the years ahead.
These remarks were made by Sean Seah, President of the World Innovation, Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA), during the World Congress on Innovation and Technology (WCIT 2024) in Yerevan, as he welcomed the organizers and delegates from various countries. He noted that Armenia had previously hosted the event in 2019, highlighting the country's experience in organizing such a global platform.
Before introducing the agenda for the following three days, the WITSA President informed participants that the organization's General Assembly had already concluded and that he had the honor of serving as President of WITSA for the 2025–2026 term. He also introduced the newly elected members of the Board of Directors.
