Statue Honoring Charles Aznavour Unveiled in Yerevan

A statue of Charles Aznavour was unveiled on July 22, 2025, in Yerevan, opposite the Aznavour Center. Created by Armenian sculptor Davit Minasyan, it pays tribute to the Franco-Armenian artist, an icon of French chanson and a cultural bridge between France and Armenia.

The CCIFA welcomes this symbolic initiative, which reflects Aznavour’s deep attachment to his two homelands and highlights the importance of dialogue between our nations. This work embodies the enduring ties that we continue to strengthen between France and Armenia through culture, remembrance, and cooperation.
