Armenia Acquires Valéry Giscard d’Estaing’s Former Private Mansion for €23 Million
News
After spending several months under the ownership of Charles Beigbeder, this unique property in Paris’s 16th arrondissement has changed hands once again.
A new development has emerged in the eventful sale of Valéry Giscard d’Estaing’s former private mansion. The 1,226 m⊃2; residence (including approximately 1,000 m⊃2; of living space spread over two floors), where the former President of the French Republic lived for nearly 60 years, found a buyer a year ago. However, the identity of the purchaser was not disclosed at the time.
Contrary to claims published by France Cadastre, a private company unrelated to the official cadastre.gouv.fr website managed by the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance, the buyer was not Nexity.
In reality, the property was acquired by Charles Beigbeder, founder of an investment fund dedicated to space start-ups. Located on Rue Bénouville, near Porte Dauphine in Paris’s 16th arrondissement, the mansion was purchased for €19 million in June 2023.
