A graduate of the École de Commerce de Marseille, today located on the Luminy campus, Roland Vartanian spent the greater part of his career within a national social-housing company (société anonyme d'HLM) based in Marseille. A dynamic and ambitious organisation, it has since become a leading player in its sector, with operations across the whole of France.

Over the years, he held a range of complementary responsibilities there: client relationship management, management of engineering and insurance contracts, financial simulation and structuring of operations, and management of financing. This career gave him solid expertise in the financial structuring and steering of projects.

Beyond his professional life, Roland Vartanian has long been a committed volunteer with Armenian sporting and cultural associations and, for several years now, within the French Football Federation - Mediterranean League.

Faithful to the simple values passed on to him by his parents, and to the history of the Armenian presence in France, he upholds them with conviction and determination - a spirit he now brings to the CCIFA and to closer ties between France and Armenia.
