Christian Missirian
Treasurer
CCIFA CCIFA Lyon
Born in Marseille and a Lyonnais by adoption, Christian Missirian is a well-known leader in the energy sector and the regional economy, now a consultant and deeply engaged in the economic life of his region.
An engineer by training — with a degree in electrical and mechanical engineering obtained in Aix — he began his career as a researcher at EDF before holding senior commercial positions, up to Head of Sales for EDF in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. He also spent four years in the office of Pierre Gadonneix, then Chairman of EDF, and was a driving force behind the Smart Electric Lyon laboratory.
A committed figure in Lyon's economic life, he served as an elected member of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and of the Lyon-Saint-Étienne-Roanne CCI, as President of TUBA Lyon — an association dedicated to harnessing digital data for the smart city — and as a founding member of Cercle K2. In 2017, he was made Knight of the National Order of Merit (Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite). Since 2022, he has led Christian Missirian Conseil, a business management consulting and advisory firm.
As Treasurer of CCIFA Lyon, he puts his executive experience and his knowledge of the regional business landscape to work in support of Franco-Armenian relations and of companies developing between France and Armenia.
