Flavors of the World – WTC & Union of Chambers of Commerce and Business Clubs

News

On Monday, December 1st, 2025, the annual culinary event of the UCCCAB, “Flavors of the World”, was held at the World Trade Center Convention Center in Marseille.

This gathering, organized by the WORLD TRADE CENTER and the UCCCAB, is a friendly networking event where Chambers of Commerce, represented by their respective delegations and consular representations, come together to exchange.

The 11th edition once again saw strong attendance, bringing together 35 countries, around 900 guests, exhibitors, and partners, in a spirit of respect and friendship.

The presence of countries from Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa highlights the success of this event. It allowed participants to showcase their culinary expertise and promote their cultural, touristic, and economic richness in a spirit of sharing and peace.

This year, the CCIFA had a very well-positioned stand in the main reception hall, alongside the Greek, German, Portuguese, Cypriot, Belgian, Italian, Romanian, Slovak, Spanish, Chinese, Thai Chambers, and others.

This unique moment, shared with fellow bilateral chambers, represents one of the simplest and most effective ways to bring people closer together and strengthen relationships, as volunteering fosters solidarity.

It allowed us to communicate, exchange, and present Armenian cuisine, thanks to the caterer “Grenade d’Or”, who prepared a magnificent buffet featuring savory and sweet dishes, as well as Armenian wines, juices, and spirits.

Our colleagues Mrs. Sylvie Seropian, Mr. Jacques Avdoyan, Achod Nikoghossian, and Roland Vartanian were pleased to welcome the Consul General of Armenia in Marseille, Mr. Ara Mkrtchian, accompanied by Consul Mr. Sergey Melkonyan, the President of UCCAB Mr. Olivier Van de Winkel, the President of the CCIFA Lyon delegation Mr. Raffi Derderian, as well as many supporters, former members of the Board of Directors, representatives of bilateral chambers, and members of the public.
